A good step is coming from Chief Minister of Bihar Mr. Nitish Kumar, announcing a ban on liquor in Bihar from 1st April, 2016.

The chief minister made the announcement – a part of his election pledge – at an official function to mark Prohibition Day here.

He said that because of liquor domestic violence increases, mostly on women. He also mentioned that though the revenue will be decrease but will find some other solution to generate revenue.
