Patna: RJD president Lalu Prasad on Saturday said he would take up the cudgels on behalf of homeopathic doctors on contract and ask health minister Tej Pratap Yadav to look into their grievances.
Lalu said this while addressing delegates on the first day of Homoeopathic Science Congress on Saturday. The event was to be attended by his son. Lalu said since his son was preoccupied with other works, he thought he should address the session instead.
Lalu also recalled his association with Dr Bandhu Sahni, noted homoeopathic doctor in whose memory the two-day conference has been organised.
The main speaker at the scientific session was Dr Kulwant Singh (Jamshedpur). Patna’s Dr M Sahni, son of Dr Bandhu Sahni, spoke on the selection of medicines for treatment. Lucknow’s Dr Ravi Singh and Jhansi’s Dr Surendra Vikram Goswami presented their research papers.
