Patna: Raghopur would be developed as an industrial hub, said deputy CM Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Sunday in the presence of CM Nitish Kumar and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad at a function organised at Mohanpur for commencement of work for a six-lane bridge across river Ganga.
“The state government will take up the construction work for a ring road in Raghopur and develop this place as an industrial hub so that each and every household of the area gets the benefit of development,” said Tejashwi,a road construction minister of the state, who represents Raghopur constituency in the Bihar assembly.
People have to cross the river by boats even after 70 years Independence because of not being connected with road.
He expressed his gratitude to the people of Raghopur who have voluntarily offered their land for the bridge. Total 324 acre of land is required to construct the bridge. “Government will complete the land acquisition process for the entire project by this month end,” he added.
