Patna: The Bihar cabinet on Friday allocated 20.48 acres of land near Moin-ul-Haq stadium in Patna to develop a science city.
The state government had in 2012 allocated 15.56 acres of land to the department of science and technology for the purpose. It cancelled its earlier decision on Friday.
“The land has been transferred to the science and technology department free of cost. It originally belonged to the art, culture and youth affairs department,” said Brajesh Mehrotra, principal secretary (cabinet secretariat).
